Mission

Pamoja Tujenge assists the citizens of Katanga province, DRC, to rebuild their communities after years of political upheaval and economic instability by responding to locally identified needs in the areas of health, education and agriculture. Pamoja Tujenge provides support, resources and tools while respecting local knowledge and traditions and avoiding aid dependency.

The purpose of our organization is to improve the quality of life in rural communities of Africa.

In the 21st century, we invent new energy resources, we explore new frontiers in medicine and education. Our lives have become increasingly more convenient: we communicate at the speed of light across the globe, we consume more, we own more. In the process we may have forgotten to appreciate the basics of life like clean water, healthy nutrition, and access to medical care and education. We take these things for granted, while millions of others struggle for survival.

By building schools, co-operative farms and medical clinics we are committed to improving the quality of life in rural communities of Africa.
